Children are really important to us
at Loughborough URC
Children of all ages are really important to us at Loughborough URC and we are very much a family-focused church.
Whilst we don’t have a regular junior church session on a Sunday morning at the moment, we will make sure that if you are visiting us, there will always be something for your children to do. For toddlers and young children, we keep a selection of toys, books and colouring sheets in our vestibule area, so if your child wants to play or gets restless during the service, they can go there with you at any point to play. The service is relayed into this area so parents can still feel they are included in the worship.
We do have a secure crèche area for babies up to 2 years old but we do ask that parents stay with their young ones. So that you don’t miss out on the service, we are in the process of arranging for the service to be relayed over our intercom system.
Introducing God to our young people and enriching them in fun and exciting ways!
From time to time we will also do special activity sessions during the main service for visiting children. Usually these are during special celebrations, such as Easter and Christmas. Our special activity sessions are designed for children of all ages.
