HEALTH and SAFETY POLICY
Health & Safety is the responsibility of the Charity Trustees, who in turn delegate that responsibility to the Church’s Buildings Management and Finance group.
The church hires out rooms under licence from East Midlands Synod whose Trust Company holds the buildings in trust for the benefit of the local church.
We endeavour to comply with all current legislation and compliance requirements.
To this end, we have commissioned: –
- An Asbestos Survey
- Accessibility reports
- Fire risk assessments
We have policies on Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable adults, and all Trustees/Elders plus those with significant access have regular DBS checking. Notices in toilets inform who to approach if concerned by abuse.
Our CCTV policy was based on the ICO recommendations
